Update #201912 – FELIZ NAVIDAD

10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. – Luke 2:10-11
Possibly the most incredible verses in all of scripture as the angel announced our Savior’s birth. Our eternity was forever changed in an instant. As we enter this Advent season and look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus, we pray you will remember that Christmas is not about materialism and excess, but about the humble coming of our Lord and Savior that brought each of us the opportunity of salvation. As we come to the end of another amazing year at PCA, we are grateful to all of you who partner with us each month. We wish you and your families a very Merry Christmas from all of us at Palacaguina Christian Academy!!

END OF YEAR GIVING
As you look back at the blessed and prosperous year the Lord has given you and consider your end of year giving options, please remember PCA. Your year-end gift would have a tremendous impact on our 2020 budget as we enter the New Year. 100% of your gift, as always, will go directly to the school.
PRAYER REQUESTS
- God’s continued provision for our remaining construction projects this year
- Divine appointments and the Lords favor while in Florida
- God to move on hearts as we plan our 2020 mission trips
- Safe travels and opportunities for Brianna as she is traveling/fund raising this month
PCA FLOATS (CARROZAS)
This year, we provided a fun competition for PCA students. The challenge: Create the best float (carrozas). The families and students had a wonderful time in this activity and as you can see they chose the theme of Christmas and were very creative. Events like this help our students, families and the community focus on more positive activities in the midst of a very difficult time in the country. We love seeing our children smile.
BETTER TO GIVE THAN TO RECEIVE
It truly is a blessing to give. We have begun this season of giving with a gift of food, clothing and sanitation items to our staff and teachers at PCA. As a thank you from us, these gifts will not only help their immediate family but their extended family in the community as well.
LOVING ON OUR SENIORS
PCA staff visited the local nursing home in Palacaguina to donate food and blankets as well as visit with the seniors living there. As we focus on impacting the children of Palacaguina, we must never forget to love and care for those who have gone before us to pave the way for our beloved community.
PROJECT UPDATES & GOALS
We are getting even closer to finishing the bathroom project with only $2,000 left to complete it. Praise God!!! We completed the 3rd grade classroom flooring as well as the tile work in the bathrooms. We only need to finish the classroom and safety projects by February to be completely ready for the next school year.
Please pray specifically for these areas and that God will provide for each need.

PCA SPONSORSHIP
We have 15 current students needing sponsorship and an estimated 20 new students who will need sponsors. Please share with others to help find sponsors for these wonderful children. Sponsoring a child not only provides a quality education, but a meal every day, a uniform, books and supplies to help them stay in school.
THANK YOU!!!
Finishing a week focused on giving thanks, we can honestly say we are thankful. God has given us so much and has blessed us with each of you who partner and share with us in the ministry of PCA. Seeing the impact of all God has done and continues to do, we are amazed. Each and every one of you are being used by God to make that impact a reality in the lives of children and families in Palacaguina. Thank you for continually making the choice each month to sacrifice in order to literally change the lives of children and their families. Thank you!!!
Feliz Navidad y Dios te bendiga de la familia Witonski!!! (Merry Christmas and God Bless you from the Witonski family)
